The King's Workout

LeBron is MVP once again! The King not only works hard during the season, but during the offseason as well. Aside from playing basketball, LeBron James workout includes calisthenics, plyometrics training exercises, cardio, and supersets.



Lebron's workouts are built around supersets. A superset is performing back to back exercises without resting. They're a great time saver in the gym. LeBron does 2 supersets performing 3 sets of each with 45 seconds rest. He works out 4 days per week.



Monday
1st Superset
Push ups: max reps
Pull ups: 10 reps

2nd Superset
DB Snatch: 5 reps with each arm
Cable Single-Arm Row: 10 reps with each arm

Tuesday
1st Superset
DB Squat:8-12 reps
Swiss Ball Hamstring Curl: 12 reps

2nd Superset
DB Step up: 10 reps with each leg
DB Calf Raises: 12 reps with each leg

Thursday
1st Superset
DB Incline Bench Press: 10 reps
Lat Pulldown: 10 reps

2nd Superset
DB Single-Arm Overhead Press: 6-8 reps
DB Single-Arm Row: 10 reps with each arm

Friday
1st Superset
Single-leg Squat: 5 reps with each leg
Single-leg Swiss Ball Leg Curl: 10 reps with each leg

2nd Superset
DB Side Lunge: 10 reps each direction
Unstable Jump Rope: 45 seconds on a soft surface
